Born in 1968 in Wirral, England, UK.
Lives and works in Sussex, England, UK.

Working across the mediums of painting, drawing, ceramics, collage, printmaking, textiles and artist books, Rosalind Faram places the visual language of contemporary culture within the context of art-historical and craft-folk traditions, in a non-hierarchical way; colour, subject, materials and the forms they take are bestowed with democratic rights outside of any framework of class-dictated ‘taste’. Classical, patriarchal forms are deconstructed or subverted; a positive form of protest arising in the process of creation.
